Trains use sand in emergency braking and poor grip areas. Sand gets stuck to the lower part of the wagons due to grease and moisture, causing material corrosion. Fapp designed and implemented an eight-meter long cleaning cabin with a blowing and extraction system and a high-pressure water washing system.
