Our history

We study each case thoroughly to always find the best solution. That’s why we offer an extensive range of systems that covers from the most basic suction needed to the most sophisticated installation. And if doesn’t fit to your needs, we invent and design a made-to-mesure system. And this is the part that we like the most about our work: the challenges.

In our 65-year history, our department of I-FD has developed more than 1500 special projects for the suction of all types of materials, from hazardous particles of ATEX or mercury classification, to foods with high hygienic requirements.

And, of course, large central vacuum systems for all types of industries. In this way, we are able to respond day after day to the highest level of demand, working for leading brands in all types of industrial sectors, helping them to meet their productivity, safety and environmental protection goals. And offering them all the attention of our after-sales service with the complete availability of accessories and spare parts for all our machines.

Fapp was founded in 1947 to provide service in design and manufacture of machinery in the textile and metallurgical industry.

In 1977, when we detect in our customers a need that was not well covered, we entered the field of suction. We began by the booth sectors we knew by our experience, and later were incorporated other industrial sectors until we were able to offer a complete and transversal offer to all the possible suction and filtration needs of any company. In the industrial range, Fapp Sistemas de Aspiración designs, manufactures, installs and maintains integral suction solutions.

In 1994, due to a growing demand of cleaning machinery, we reached an agreement with Floorpul for being the distributor in Catalonia of the entire range of cleaning machines and single-phase vacuum cleaners. From the beginning, our customers have been from companies with their own facilities as well as companies dedicated to offering cleaning services. More than 20 years of experience working with Floorpul support us to advise our clients on a better purchasing decision according to their needs. Our technical and after-sales service includes periodic maintenance, spare parts and repairs of all kinds.

In 1997, was signed an agreement to be the only official distributor in Spain for centralized vacuum plants of the Beam brand, which was subsequently (2002) purchased by Electrolux. With this step, Fapp, Sistemas de Aspiración manages to enter the home’s suction sector. Today, more than 20 years of experience in the sale, installation and maintenance of centralizing suction place us in the best position to serve our customers every day.
